\nTo All Customers of Westphalia Telephone Company<\/strong>
\nTELECOMMUNICATIONS SERVICES<\/strong><\/p>\n

Public Service Commission of Michigan designated Westphalia Telephone Company as an \u201cEligible Telecommunications Carrier\u201d for its service area for universal service purposes. The goal of universal service is to provide all citizens access to essential telecommunications services.<\/p>\n

Westphalia Telephone Company \u00a0provides the supported services — voice telephony service and broadband Internet access service \u2013 throughout its designated service area.\u00a0 These supported services include:<\/p>\n

– Voice grade access to the public switched network
\n– Minutes of use for local service provided at no additional charge;
\n– Access to emergency services such as 911 and enhanced 911; and
\n– Broadband Internet access service which includes the capability to send data to and receive data from the Internet, but excludes dial-up service.<\/p>\n

Voice telephony service is provided at rates which start at $22.82 per month for residential customers and $24.71 per month for business line customers.\u00a0 Broadband Internet access service is provided at rates which start at $34.95 per month for residential customers and $34.95 per month for business customers.\u00a0 Westphalia Telephone Company would be pleased to provide you with specific rates for voice and broadband for your area upon request.\u00a0 Use of these services may result in added charges including taxes, surcharges, and fees.<\/p>\n
